Shackletons strike gold at awards for the 4th year running!

...plus SILVER in the awards for the best indoor living and styles team!
Yet again, Shackletons have triumphed at The Greatest Awards! Shackletons fought off strong competition from around the UK to claim gold for the fourth year in a row at “The Greatest Outdoor Leisure Sales Team” at The Greatest Awards 2010. Additionally, Shackletons Home and Garden Centre team came runners up and claimed silver in the “The Greatest Indoor Living and Styles Sales Team” award.
The Greatest Awards acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the teams of people who make UK garden centre retailing so vibrant. It is also the only industry awards scheme that takes into account the views of the most important people - gardening customers and they voted in their thousands!
Shackletons were nominated for this award because of their exceptional product offering and expanded retail areas dedicated to Outdoor Leisure and Indoor Living furniture. An expanded retail space means there’s even more Indoor and Outdoor Leisure / Living ranges and choices for customers to choose from. The presentation of The Greatest Awards took place on Tuesday 13th July at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham. Special celebrity guest Steve Davies was present at The Greatest Awards which are organised to help to raise money for the Green Fingers Appeal, the charity of the gardening industry, dedicated to creating and improving gardens at UK Children's Hospices.
This prestigious award represents a great achievement not only for Shackletons but for Lancashire. Shackletons have recently invested in a new 40,000 sq ft extension dedicating around 20,000 sq ft each to an outdoor furniture and indoor living furniture showrooms, showcasing the very best in luxury outdoor and indoor living products.
